Having issues with my turbo after having egr delete done I'm in inwood wv and not many people here who know of a good mechanic me and my neighbor have been trying to diagnose these trucks on our own. The guy that did the egr delete said he warrantied his work but when my truck wasn't right he stopped answering my calls and ignoring my text so this is where I'm at any help would be great.

 

Yeah that sucks! If you were in the southern part of the state I have a guy I could send you to. He works on my 03 6.0...he's a Ford Service Tech.

hello I am the guy matt is talking about. i am a ford diesel tech and i can help you on your situation. does the turbo spin freely. the uppipe to turbo seated correctly? any leaks by the manifold to uppipes?

 

Turbo spins freely triple checked the uppipe don't hear any air leaks changed the drivers side intercooler pipe old one had a hole but it still made boost before the delete when the intake is off I can see the turbo spinning. All my sensors are reading showed another guy that has a 6.0 and did all his own work on his and he was stumped only thing he could think of was maybe the intercooler was bad but we still can't hear any air leaks

 

Another thing is he had the turbo out and cleaned it said he replaced seals.
