DEF nightmare

I hear you on the extra keys... It isn't like cars in the early 80's didn't have locking fuel doors. Tailgate power lock/unlock would be nice too...
Was thinking of an inside locking DEF cap... But at $94... That cabinet lock is looking a lot better.
Ford
and of course then you should probably get the fuel cap lock too.
-- or --
If you don't like the bling of a chrome locking door, they make it in powder coated black. For me not so bad as y truck is tuxedo black. But others may want to get it painted to match. Cheaper than the DEF lock alone at JEGs. ($57.99 free shipping, except to me in Alaska...) Don't have any experience with any of these products... Just things I was looking at.

FWIW I used the weather resistant cam lock from McMaster. They even have a combination lock (no key) that's black for folks that don't want extra keys or chrome.
It's my understanding that locks purchased from RV stores use, IIRC, a #57 key. The same key every RV owner in the country has. Not much security there. I could be wrong on that though. It's been 20 years since I owned an RV.

I have 2 spares........I think I'll use one for the fuel door along with an alarm switch.
