So...I've been here at FTE for over a decade. It used to be that the site guidelines were strictly enforced. I realize that FTE changed ownership somewhere along the way, but guideline #2 says"...or sexually explicit content in any form."

The reason I bring this up is because I was in the Photo Albums area after I found out that I could no longer modify my gallery That was irritating enough, but what really got me was that under "trending" was a bunch of questionable material.

This is supposed to be a family site, and I don't like that when I am cruising FTE with my kids playing around that they might see me looking at that kind of stuff. I don't think it's appropriate, and for those who do, there are plenty of sites out there that have that kind of material.

Bottom line: I don't think a truck site should have that kind of material. There are plenty of sites geared toward just that type of thing. How is this now allowed when it violates the site guidelines?

I realize that in the strictest legal sense it might not be "****" but it does irritate me that those kinds of pictures are on a truck site. There are plenty of other places for that.

Well, I have to admit, those are some really nice breasts. But, the OP is right, that type of material does not belong on a site like this.

Remember when we had that Picture Battles thing here? Albums started filling up with those kinds of pictures within a few months.

As for the link CMK gave as an example, it's a valid FTE-provided link that I'm guessing was created during that picture-battle phase but was never disabled (or redirected) when that thing went away, people may have bookmarked it or it could even be in some old posts in the archives.

Google will even take you to that page... third entry below the images...

wow never saw those... here i was thinking they were talking "truck ****" as one of the threads are title here of pictures of trucks.. but when i followed CMK's link i actually saw a few FULL NUDE girl pics... My guess is its from when people are posting pics using the IMG button now... even if its not public ive noticed the site does it as well in PM's where some might have been posted.. instead of the img's just being linked to the site its now uploading the images to the site and being stores in peoples albums. thats my guess of where some of them came from but cant say for 100% certainty

 

No... these are pictures hosted here on FTE, and there is no such facility to copy pictures from someplace else and inject 'em into storage here.

The IMG functionality (which can still be used) allows sourcing of an image that's located anyplace on the 'net (that's publicly viewable).

 

No it does not, we already had a thread running a week ago about this very thing in the 48-56 forum.
This site is by far the best as it doesnt allow this type of thing, I like to look but if I "want" to look I go to a site specific to look, not here.
I just stated I knew about it for a few weeks as I didnt want anyone to think it happened all at once, I recall that nude pic from the club fte member forum 2 months ago. It was posted in a thread There was a thread called boobies I think.
