About a year ago I scored a Texas cab...2004 crew cab, 3 good doors and 1 good fender for $800.

And today I scored a frame, again from Texas, sandblasted and powder coated...$450

you have an 8' bed? Here's one for 1K.

99-10 8' long bed f250 f350

And here's a guy selling (2) 7.3L trucks that need Auto tranny's.

1999 2001 F350's for sale

There's plenty of deals out there. You just need to spend time and check your area every other day cuz they go quick.

I promise guys.... after this I'll stop

Here is a 99 Engine with 6sp for $1500 in Richmond, Va. with new IDM, ECM. If this guy can start the engine as it sits and it has no blow by... shoot, I think I'm gonna go buy it...

7.3 powerstroke engine and 6sd trans

Just emailed the guy. Somehow, that seems too good to be true.

Keep them coming, I don't mind at all!

Since the new front clip has to be painted and the bed is going to be off, I'm going to paint the whole truck black.

I always wanted a black truck.

When you have it apart that would be a great time to paint the frame with Chassis Saver or POR-15. Then hit the whole underside, inside of the doors and inside of the rockers with Fluid Film every year and she will last a long time.

Probably is. Reading it closer it doesn't mention how the motor runs, just the mileage. That and the fact there is a NEW IDM sitting there makes me feel he has been trying to get it to run and can't. But you never know.

Just talked to him. Its an early 99, old company truck and had some blow by out of the oil fill.
