Clutch troubles

Ok what happened to my clutch. 93 f150. I pushed the clutch in this morning in this -10 heat wave and it didnt come back up. So i pulled it up by hand and and pushed it back it and it came back up but its real soft and doesnt start to do anything till its pushed in about 3/4 the way down. And it comes up kinda slowly. And as you would guess it its a real bitch to shift now. Yes i checked the fluid it was a hair low i filled up and no difference and i dont see any leaks anywhere. So did my slave go out or something.

I'd check the

Master cylinder first...I just went through a complete clutch job, all new parts at the very end of the day, and my patience I had to replace the Master cylinder in order to make the pedal right and clutch shift correctly...that is my experience...yours might be different but not a bad place to start...GL
