69 ranchero question

I am new to this board I am a 2001 l owner and I am looking for a daily driver. I was contemplating buying a 69 ranchero gt it is in great shape 130000 miles on it, I was wondering 1) what it is worth and 2) Did this really come with a 351 cleveland or was this a motor swap?

69 ranchero question

If you'll get the serial number and the codes off of the tag on the drivers door I'll look them up for you or tell you where you can do it. The 69 models came with everything from a six to a 428. The serial number for a 69 GT with a 351should start out with 9k49HXXXXXX. The value? I would like to think a decent original 69 GT should be worth $3000 and up.

69 ranchero question

Sorry to tell you this but that is not the original engine. The 351 Cleveland was only a factory option from 1971 to 1974. the only 4 years they made the cleveland series. I had a 69 Ranchero that had a factory original 351 Windsor

What is the original Engine on a 69 Ranchero?

My dad called me up from Hapeville Georgia to tell me that his engine took a dive. Now he's looking to put in a factory engine to restore his daily driver. He says it's a six cylinder but doesn't know if it is the factory one or not. I told him he should get a 350 because you can never go wrong with a 350.

Can anyone tell me what Engine was offered with the 69 Ranchero when they were first sold in the US?

Also, my Bro-in-law has a 60 Ranchero that he's trying to get back from some fools that car napped it. He was willing to sign it over to me but I really didn't wan the headache. What is it worth if it's taken apart but still has the three on a tree. It had air shocks for a low ride.
