Just cut across thru CA on I40 to 95 north to Vegas. I also ignored the 55mph limit pulling a trailer, LOL!

Most people do. I'm at the very top of cali and I almost refuse to make trips to socal with a trailer because I can't handle going that slow for that much distance.

I don't think any of us go that slow Rick.

I've seen trailer restricted speed zones, but I'll always claim I thought that was just for semi-trailers over a certain weight.

Not true. When I was in Nevada prices were exactly the same, and according to GasBuddy, much of AZ is the same too. I pay less where I live in CA than some other states.

Uhhh, ok. Looking at GasBuddy right now, it shows average CA price of reg. unleaded as $2.55, while AZ is listed as $1.96. For some reason I can't get it to show averages for diesel fuel, but I see it as $2.61 in Ventura, and $2.17 in Phoenix area.
But I could be wrong...

Looks like I need to drive to Ventura... Diesel is about 35 cents a gallon cheaper than here in Thousand Oaks.

Well, I'm not in Ventura any more haha. Took this yesterday. Although that diesel is a little above average, and that gas is a little below average.

I live a few hours north now.
Also, I should say, when I was in NV it was before this crazy price plummet.

We have aigricultre and border patrol checkpoints in California the aigricultre just wave you thru like you said huge waste of money. Border patrol checkpoints are no joke. First infrared is done on your vehicle and if your on any of the more rural highways you will have drug dogs around your car and a nice interrogation. Bunch of malarkey. I think the border patrol trips when they see me in my obs with just my dog. They think im smuggling mexicans in, I swear lol.

What gets me are border patrol checkpoints IN the state. NOT at the border.
