whats largest size tires to fit on 6 inch lift and 9 inch lift? Pictures please

What year? F100? F150? F250? F350? Supercab?? Shortbed or longbed? Front axle model?

Typically, a 6-inch can accommodate 37s and 38s. Wheel offset is critical.

thanks for the warm welcome lol. I currently do not have a ford but am looking for 1978 to 1979, preferably f250 with a 460 but probably will end up getting an f150 with 351. want a lift. was looking at 9 inch, will that even be street legal? 9 inch lift?

Go here to the Maryland vehicle lift laws....Maryland Lift Laws | Vehicle Modification Rules

Frame and bumper lift regulation, no on suspension. So jack it up but you will have to run drop bumpers and extend/drop plate (truss?) your cross members.

That is usually where they measure from, the the lowest point.

1978 F250 with a skyjacker 6" lift on 38.5x16" TSLs











My truck with a buddy of mines 78 F250 with the same lift on 37" Mickey Thompsons.

NW150, those steps your buddy has on his 79, what are they and did he have to fabricate a bracket for them?

NW150, sweet truck, along with your buddys, im going for that same truck he has but black. do you have any rubbing with the 38s? did you cut anything away?

His is a 78 as well as mine. I think they are bully step bars IIRC.

Everything clears fine. The only time I've had the tires rub was up front when I turned out of a parking lot so it was on a ramp to the road and made the truck flex enough. 37s don't have any issues.

Cops down there dont mess with your height? Bumper,head lights? They will in Mich, your buddy's is one clean looking ride, plane, strait,clean.

Not that I know of, my silver Oct of 77 had a 78/79 slit style on it when I bought it.
