What synthetic oil are you running?

Alright so I've done plenty of PITA stuff to ease my cold start woes but one thing I really want to do now is switch oils. So I'm just asking, what types, and what recommendations do you guys have for synthetic oils to run in the IDI in cold weather?
Thanks in advance, Russell

My guess is a lot of us are running regular oil, and wondering what the few that are running synthetic are going to say.

I am one of those running regular... so I don't have anything else to add at this time.

Heard alot about T6, all good stuff. Dont forget a synthetic filter. My understanding is the mobile 1 filter for the PSD is the way to go, dual stage filtering.

Okay, so I did a little more research and the T6 sounds like the ticket. I've been using the FL-1995 PSD oil filters ever since I bought the truck. Will they handle the synthetic oil or do I still need to get a synthetic filter to go along with it?

i do not run synthetic. for me it would be a waste of money with all the little leaks i have.
besides, the regular old valvoline all fleet 14-40 has done a very good job for the last 494,000 miles.

Should be available at any FLAPS or man-mall store. Amazon wants too much, but free shipping.

Dunno if it was a misprint, but a year or so ago, AutoZtoned put several oils on sale for $12.99 a gallon, and somehow included Mobil 1 TDT 5w40. I bought something like 16 gallons, so that's gonna last us a while.
