Block Heater/351W?

I've been looking for a block heater for my F-150, and have trouble finding one. If anyone knows where I can find one please help.

Thanks Aaron

I would think any auto parts store, but try www.phillipsandtemro.com, this company makes block heaters.

Just buy a block heater that is the same as your core plug size you will be using.

Every block heater I have installed at work has always replaced one of the core plugs in the side of the block.

They make heaters that fit in the lower radiator hose. I have one on my truck, but I don't know who makes it.

This looks similar to mine. They offer them in different hose diameters so make sure to get the right one.

Did you read the reviews on that one? Seems that the common problem people have is that it works good for a few uses and then it doesn't work anymore.

No, I just did a google search and it came up. Maybe there are better brands out there.

If I can find one I would definitely want one that replaced one of the existing freeze plugs. I'm just having trouble finding the somewhere with a reputably product that sells them all together.

ok I'll look into that, I just didn't think that the Ford dealer ship would have something for that "OLD" of a motor

at my work I keep some old motorcraft books for stuff like this.most dealers probably won't have a listing on their parts lookup(some may change up to newer more expensive #'s). I new that one because it's good for MANY years on most older v8's and some v6's.

Okay. I didn't know if they made one or even what size mine are. I guess I could do that after I do a good radiator flush once she's broke in.
