Supermarket Finds: The Weird, The Bizarre, and The "WTF?"

As a grocery stocker at a major US retailer, I often run across the most gawdawful things that people buy...

Whenever I find such an item, I take a photo of it and I share them on my Facebook feed...

And, now, I'm sharing what I've found with you... Enjoy!... LOL!...

(... and, feel free to chime in with whatever weird and bizarre stuff you find in your local stores...)

Chinese "Spam", made in Canada:

I found these today, actually... I've not yet found anyone who has tried these...:

This is one of those things I think people buy just because "Damn, that sounds disgusting - I must get it!":

What possible reason would anyone have to make a fruit taste like another, completely unrelated fruit?:

Yup, powdered peanut butter... It wasn't until after a customer told me that he adds this stuff to his protein shakes that it started to make sense...:

Ugh...:

I absolutely abhor marshmallows - I won't eat the damn things so, I don't know what these taste like, but they smell AWFUL!!!:

More Ugh...:

Some of the flavor combinations Lay's has been coming up with has to make one wonder just what the hell is going on there, behind the scenes...:

This didn't sell so well... Can't imagine why... :

I decided to try these, on a whim... They actually aren't half bad (not half good, either)...:

OK, now it's your turn...

Here's another one - even my daughter, who loves "Muddy Buddies", found these disgusting...:

Chinese Spam? I wonder if it's made from dog, or cat? Or maybe a smooth, tasty blend of both?

Okay, well... I can't remember the exact price but the Chinese/Canadian meat product was actually more expensive than an equivalent can of Spam - by about 20-cents, I think...

The other side of the can has the English translation and it seems to be made out of unidentifiable pig parts - kind of like Spam - only maybe not exactly the same parts of the pig...

If nothing else this demonstrates the foolishness or dare I say stupidity of the American consumer?

If someone makes it there'll be someone who buys it---and likes it to boot.

Some Rogue beers are pretty good. Recently tried the sriracha flavor and it has the pepper burn at the end pretty smooth over all though. It does have the green top too. Pretty cool.

The chicken and waffles chips are gross. Wife bought some or was given to us. Either way did not like.

This one is from a very good friend of mine - He questioned why anyone would need caffeine in their shampoo...
