First thoughts were the EGT sensor as going bad. Did you wait a bit longer and try again?

Second thought is a fuel related issue. Do you have a code reader?

When you turn to just the on position do you hear the low pressure fuel pump working?

No I just tried it that once.
No I don't have a code reader.
Yes I can hear the fuel pump.
About 4 days ago I change primary and secondary fuel filters when I did my oil change.
Two weeks ago get some water in the fuel had a drain separator.
Nothing unusual. Ran a little crappy. i'm just gonna have it towed home in about three hours when I get back up there it's about 22 miles from the house! So I can just work on it here, playing mechanic on the side of the road sucks and it's cold as hell outside! Haha

Sound like a plan. If it starts then the sensor should be the issue.

Overwise I might be inclined to pull the fuel filter at the engine and check the fuel bowl for evidence of metal or rust.

Did you just recently fill up?

Ok thank you for info, first negative experience with the 6.4 became a pro at fixing my 6.0
If this thing becomes the headache the 60. was I will light this SOB on fire! Ha!
I filled up with fuel on Monday and have ran about a half a tank through.

First check the fuel cutoff switch in the passenger side of the dash. Open the door and there is an access door. Reach in and make sure it is depressed. Try to start. Next I would pull the fuel filter and shine a light in the bowl and see what it looks like. Be sure to cycle the key once you put the filter back on.

The low-pressure fuel pump under the hood by the reservoir on the driver side had a broken vacuum line! The secondary feel pump continuously runs? Never heard it running like this before I'm not sure if this can cause a problem cranks over won't start , act like it's not getting a fuel.

Not sure I follow. Here is a pic of the fuel system under the hood. Did you pull the fuel filter and have a look at the bowl?

Can you post a pic of what you are referring to? Sounds like air in the system.
