F250 Towing Issues

My company just bought an new F250 to tow around our mobile office. However the stock suspension has a lot of sag to it. The trailer tongue weight is around 1200lbs. What is the best product besides air bags that I can purchase to help? I am currently looking at the Hellwig 3500lbs helper springs thoughts?

airbags alone will do just fine.

A dual setup so you can control each side independently with on board air.

I had firestone ride rites on mine.

Sound like you have a new truck? What year?

It is a 2015 Platinum. We had the dual airbags on the other truck with the on-board controller from Firestone and we constantly had issues with the pressure changing from side to side. Also another downside of the new F250 is its 26 gallon fuel tank do you know of an aftermarket tank company?

1200lbs tongue weight is a lot of weight. If it was me I would invest in a weight distribution hitch and spread that load out, along with some air bags. Also check your hitch receiver to make sure it can handle that load. Just because it has a receiver doesn't mean it can handle that load.

It will have the receiver already, just need the WDH itself.

Airbags should be independently controlled. Get a dual gauge setup.

There are inbed tanks or titan makes a tank that will replace the oem one.

Unfortunately with the way the trailer is set up on the hitch we cannot add the weight distribution hitch

So we had the wireless dual gauge set up and it still varied more than 5 lbs per side.

Airlift makes a setup called "aircells" that are basically urethane overload springs, not air bags, that fit in place of the oem axle snubbers, they work well and are cheap. I use them on my truck.

X2 on the draw-bar set up. Day and night with heavy tongue load. Are you sure its not possible to mod the trailer tongue? A certified trailer frame shop should be able to do so safely, or at least tell you its do-able or not. Just a thought.

Yup, but quite a bit cheaper.
