Smog Pump Delete, Ford Racing Underdrive pulleys Belt Length
Greetings,
Does any one know the belt length needed for a 92 f-150 5.0 with A/C and power steering. With Ford Racing Underdrive pulleys. I want to delete my smog pump and could use a belt size. I been getting different numbers from multiple posts. If not I'll just measure and experiment.
Thanks

84.5" length belt worked...
Smog Pump Delete with Ford Racing Under Drive Pulleys on my 1992 F-150 with stock 5.0 Truck EFI engine. It has A/C and power steering still on it.....The belt was a very tight fit. I had to turn the crank shaft to slip the belt on.
With the smog pump removed the tone of the exhaust changed slightly. It runs better overall.

here is the routing for a 94-95 Mustang GT 5.0. this may give you some ideas. note that there is an optional routing with the smog pump removed on the 2 pictures in the 2nd row. I hope this helps and I know the truck routing may be different. good luck

you can use a string to give you a close approximation of the belt length just take into consideration the tensioner
