Bronco II carb rebuild

I first posted this under the carburetor section, but there doesn't seem to be much traffic there so I am posting it here....thanks in advance if you can help me at all.

I'm rebuilding my first carb, and it's an old motorcraft 2150 carb my uncle gave me so I was tearing it apart and noticed I am missing something on the bottom down by the throttle plate. It looks to me like it is the bottom of one of the venturi assembly holes(maybe an air bleed or something). But I have no idea what it does, nor do I know how to re-install something in there if I need to. Would anybody be able to help me out? Attached is a picture with an arrow pointing to my concern, thank you very much for your time!

P.S. If it matters, I am rebuilding the carb to put on my 1985 bronco ii. Once I have the carb ready I am planning on doing the duraspark conversion.

Thanks again!

That site has a ton of great info - I'll be bookmarking that for future reference. Thank you for passing it along. Unfortunately I still can't figure out what those little caps are called. Can I just cap it with something else? Can anybody help?

Thanks again!

The holes are just from the manufacturing process and the gasket will block it off so it wont cause any issues. You could take a cap from another carb or press in a homemade cap of some sort... dont use any glue or sealants tho.

Got it....huge help. Thank you, I'm a little gun shy about putting it back together since it is my first rebuild. I will proceed. And thanks again for that other website!
