hey f250ld and 7700 owners
99 f250 ld owner here. Just went through the saga of buying a rear brake hose. Should be easy, and was easy, once I went to the fifth parts store, showed him a picture. In the end, I think it was the same as for the f150 drum brakes.
99% of the parts are f150. It's that pesky 1% I worry about.
What online supplier specifically lists this truck, and consistently gets it right?
My most convenient local shops are a NAPA with good service, and O'reilly with good prices. Would love to use local NAPA exclusively, but sometimes the price difference is pretty significant.
I like the savings of online suppliers, but often don't have the time. I also have a reasonably priced local mechanic, but same applies. Last two repairs, the truck went from fully functional, to "fix right now". Fuel filler neck, and broke brake line.
So, who's had luck with consistently correct, fast delivery, good prices online suppliers?
