I can't see the switch in the pic, but the one in the pic JB posted looks correct. And the switch runs a relay, as shown here: Lights: - Gary's Garagemahal

You are right that we could print anything we wanted instead of Fog Lamps on the bezel.

the golden goose truck I found had the fog lights mre inboard. Looked last me the mounted on the top of the bumper at least in between the mounting bolts on the front bumper.

Far as the switch goes a dual tank truck you could modify the tank selector switch to work the fog lights. They look similar it's worth looking into. I say buy the truck, $500 bucks? Parts or a spare truck I say grab it I would.

So the black truck I almost bought in the winter for $500 ended up in a local junkyard, it was way past saving, rusty would be a compliment. I snagged the entire fog light setup wiring and all, along with pretty much every other part I wanted (including a good pillar trim) for about $120. I think I will put Hella 450 driving lights in the factory surrounds and mount them on my push bar. The marchal's are in working condition but the insides are pretty rusty. Now I just have to muster the guts to cut my dash panel (but I have about 3 spares).

Do you mean just the "fog lamp" bezel? I didn't take the whole dash because it was a/c. I just grabbed the switch and fog lamp bezel. I figure I can cut mine. If Gary is serious about measuring it pm me and we can talk.

Here's the update. I have researched to death an alternate fog light switch, as the factory switch is unobtanium. The easiest option would be to get a long lever toggle switch similar to this: JEGS Performance Products 11021, JEGS Long Arm Toggle Switch | JEGS Performance Products but I do not know how long it would need to be to stick out of the bezel. I have looked at fuel tank selector switches and other model fog light switches and window switches and anything I found with a square **** (or flat shaft to put one on ) would not mount in the dash hole. It could be possible to grind the edges of a round toggle switch flat and stick a square **** on, but it would require some trial.

With knowing that a factory switch will not be an option unless you have one, how many are still interested in a 3D printed bezel?

Because this leads to the next potential issue. I took the bezel I have to a 3D print place today and they can easily make a 3D CAD drawing that anyone could use to print a bezel anywhere in the world. Cost $50 Canadian, not a big deal, in my opinion easier and almost as cheap as me mailing the part to someone else to measure and draw up and mail back. The potential issue is that when the piece is 3D printed, the background around the lettering will not be smooth, it will have a fine line pattern. Also the lettering will have to be made larger (and maybe not the same font) because the printer (at least this one) has a 0.010" tip. The small lettering would all be touching and illegible.

Regardless of what we do, it will not be exactly factory looking, at least not to someone who has seen the factory setup. It would however be, in my opinion, a pretty good looking option if you plan to add aux. lighting.

So, do we go forward with getting the piece drawn up or not?

Also I forgot to mention, if we do proceed with the bezel drawing I have the complete dash now and a template can be drawn up for drilling the holes and slot.

Brad - Thanks for doing all the legwork. As we discussed when you called, having the fog lamp bezel scanned may be a better approach than mailing it back and forth and me spending time drawing it up. So, let's see what the others say before going further.
