Morning Andy. They are here right now! Supposed to clear off, and then do it all over again tonight.

Trying to find out if we're working this coming weekend, or, if I'll actually get the 4 day weekend I have scheduled.

OOoo, a 4 day weekend would be nice! Now you can change batteries in stuff at home.

Kids get out of school for summer this weekend. Within a couple weeks we get our first camping trip of the year. I'm ready for it.

Good morning Andy! Well, so much for the 4 day weekend. I will have to come in and work a 12 on Saturday. I guess that's better than having only one day off! Wow, our kids got out 2 weeks ago!

Andy, if we ever get this damn plant back up and running, I'll go back to a 5-8's schedule. Just found out startup got pushed back another 4 days. Wonderful.

Yeah, if it actually starts in another 4 days. We've been on "Another 4 days" for 2 weeks now!

Good morning Andy. Well, came in today, and the reactor is critical, which is a good thing. Now, just have to work out way up, to where we can spin the turbine, and hopefully, be making power by the end of the week.

Well, in two weeks, I won't be here anyway. Getting my left knee replaced, so I'll be off for 9 weeks. I'll still be stopping in here, though.

Good evening Pat.

I wish you the best of luck and a quick recovery from the knee replacement!

That seems to be a very common surgery these days. A guy on one of the welding forums I frequent is recovering right now from a knee replacement. He had both done one at a time. I am the kind that would have both done right away and get it over with one shot deal.

He did mention it sucks but after a short while the pain won't be to bad and you'll be up and getting around.

They've told me I'll be walking the next day. A gal here at work had both done also. I'm just looking forward to it not hurting anymore, and not living on Ibuprophen ever damn day!

Good evening Pat.

I only know what I read on the forums about it. There may be different kinds of replacements that are faster and stuff. I just know the one guy said he may have been up on his feet and able to move the next day he said no where near capable of working. But I guess that can depend on what your work is.

He said it was more like 1 week and then he could move around ok but still didn't want to work yet.

Anyhow I hope you have a speedy recovery and all goes great. Take extra time for fishing!

I'll be off work for 9 weeks, so plenty of recovery time. I'm hoping I can spend some of that on the 67, we'll see how the recovery goes.
