I hope to get some time with mine next weekend, but we'll see. Between stuff needing to be done outside, and what I'm sure is a long list from the wife, I'll be very lucky to get any play time!

Almost done today. Just have to get a door on the jag and I can call it a day and go in. I was just online checking to see if T-ball was still on tonight with the rain or not.

Very slow. I did get the passenger door on yesterday though. Turns out after installing the motor the PO mentions something about an oil pump leak it had. Of course everything has to come apart to fix that. But the way it is designed the oil pump itself can't leak outside of the engine so it is most likely something else in the are leaking. 1 step forward, 2 back.

With these Jags you always have to be looking 10 steps ahead to make sure you won't be taking apart the last 4 hours of work just to install some little part that HAS to be in there.

Good evening Pat. No word on that Nick fellow yet? Hope he is doing ok, I know spring and summer is very busy for everyone.

Morning Andy and the Wisconsin crew! Nick is alive and well! He's having problems getting on this thread from his phone.

So, basically, you're putting together a giant 3D puzzle of a Jag......LOL

The Brits sure like to make as many parts as possible to get a single job done in these Jags.

Yeah, from what I"ve heard, they sure do like to do things the hard way over there!!LOL

I had a cousin that had an XJS (I think), and got so sick of the engine breaking down, he put a 350 chebby in it.
