Door Jamb Rust

I was reading on here a while ago that a lot of other guys have the same rust issue as I do but can't find where I was reading it. There is a lot of rust on the front bottom of the door jamb, is there patch panels made for this or am I stuck hacking up a junkyard truck? Both sides are rusted through and the door rubber doesn't even cover it all, any advice is appreciated.

Very common place to get rust also right on the kick panel area is another place it rots out. I know they make patch panels for the 61-66 trucks door jam but not sure about the 67-72's never looked for them for this body style truck. I believe it was Mac's that I saw the patch panels.

Does this look right

Ford - Ford Pickup Truck Door Patch Panel - Lower Inner - Right Side - Macs Auto Parts

The description sounds right but the pic doesn't, probably just a generic pic.

that is the inside bottom of the door itself.
Are you looking for the rocker panels or the door panels?

The front bottom of the door opening, on the cab. Where the sill plate has the piece that turns up at the front.

I made my own by cutting separate pieces and welding each in. I just didn't have the equipment to make the 90's AND then bend it where curves up in the corner.

Yep, I did the same on the corner sweeps. I got some sheet #22ga. metal
from like Home depot cut to size use Pop rivet to keep it in place and brazed then did the side filed any humps &bumps used bondo it in where needed.

It's bend 19 yrs ago and still no rust bubbles coming through to blister the paint.

I drilled a hole on the back side and sprayed galvanized paint to hold off any rust from forming.
