2000 f350 7.3 lift suggestions
Im wanting to lift my truck now its stock on 33's. Im thinking a 4 inch on 35's because 6 inch and 37's is a little too big and 37's are expensive as hell! A 4 inch from rough country is 910$. Thats one option but a buddy suggested i put 2 in level lift shackles that run about 50$ plus a 2.5 level kit that is about 70$ those together on the front will give me about 4.5 inches in the front and then just buy lift blocks for the rear and new shocks. And what size blocks would i need for the rear to be lifted to 4 inches?

Definitely save your money, and go all spring lift. Blocks only create problems, you will have bad axle wrap with that big of a block, and a spring lift will ride better. I'm not really a fan of Rough Country, I run a Pro Comp 7" on mine with 37's. If I could do it all over again, I would do 4" with 35's, spring lift. Anything larger than 4 inch lift, you eliminate your options for towing a 5th wheel without lifting the RV as well....

Same here, If I could do it over I would go with 4" springs and 2" bracket so I could have a much smoother ride. 37's are not too bad until you get them on an icy surface. Took me 15 hours to get across Wyoming after Christmas as 37's on a lifted truck are about worthless unless it's just deep snow. Spend the extra money and lift it right.

The all spring rough country is about 500$ more than the ones with rear blocks so about 1,300-1,500 and rough country is the most economical and ive heard some ups and downs. If i put the parts i put in the links above in the front and then got the blocks for the rear and added traction bars would that work fine and reduce the axle wrap? Im a little tight on money and its not gona be no show truck so it doesnt have to ride like a cadillac its old and got 245k but definatly still running strong with no signs of giving up but i dont wana dump crazy amounts i just want her to have some bigger tires and some lift. And if you really suggest against it i guess i will just get the rough country kit for 900 that has the rear blocks instead of all those parts first listed and then get or make some traction bars.

I had an 8" BDS lift and it's hard to go wrong with their warranty.
If you're handy and like to build things air bag it at all 4 corners I got rid of my SD before I could do it.
I'm running a 6" Top gun customz now and having springs in the front is a night and day difference as far as ride quality
