um,sort of.

sagged stock front springs with 3" rsk. and 1 1/2" leveling in the rear to match the front. Id like to say lifted 3" BUT I honestly would guess 1 1/2" lol compared to stock. but the 285s look about right and it just barely fits in a 7' tall garage door so its perfect for me.

how is that beast of yours running? Is that clutch hating life yet?

Hmm. Yeah mine sits like the last pic. I'd really like to go with a 35" tall is but 285 width. I can't find anything like that and probably won't by next year. I'm either going to go with 285's again or maybe 315's. Either way I want to lift it first . The clutch is good. Rated for 425 rwhp with daily driver manners. It is a bit heavier than the luk that was in it before but that's ok.

 

I like the rsk. It fixes the front end IMO.shackles should be in the rear.that took the initial shock factor out when I hit a bump. It does not compress my spine anymore lol.
If you do one for sure get the Pittman arm.they give a discount if rsk and arm bought together.I didn't and bump steer was horrible.I lived with it for a year until I lucked out and got a used one from Gabe by accident.
If I had new springs in front it would be too high. I have almost too much height for the tire I have but am not thinking of changing a thing.
I did buy bilstein 5125 custom length shocks.the rears wouldn't even reach after the added leaf and spacer out back.

Just following along here. It just occurred to me why I want to do a rsk. No more spine jarring bumps!?

Nick I have some major beef springs in the front of my truck I will take a photo. It is sitting on 315's now and they look a bit small. I have bigger tires in the shed but I have enough trouble with axel wrap. Speaking of which do you have anti wrap bars?

 

I'd swear I could feel my spine compress on a hard bump. The rsk took the "edge" off. Its still a log wagon but my wife is pleased enough so I'm happy.

 

Yes I can feel it back there. I'm not to sure what to do about it but I'll have to do something. With all this rain we've been getting I have a bigger problem with traction . I got on the highway yesterday feathering it in third, slapped it into fourth and laid into it and went a bit sideways. Some would call It a problem, but I'm a problem solver lol. Im leaning toward a pmf 3" rsk with superduty springs. The problem is what to do with the rear. I could do a shackle flip which I'm sure will work well but I dunno. I should fire up a new thread I suppose. When you come out are you bringing your truck Nathan?

 

A lot of guys really like the OUO traction blocks. It takes care of your lift and your traction bars at the same time. Check 'em out!

 

that may be what I have to do. We'll see. I've never really liked the look of traction bars under a large truck. Right now I don't have any vibrations and haven't had any hop perse but I also haven't had real good traction either. It just feels like the rear sprigs release a lot of tension when I
Let off. I'll probably talk to a friend at a local spring shop here in town and see what his suggestion is.

 

Put a gopro under the truck videoing the rear axle, springs, and driveshaft and go out on a quick, but spirited drive. Then watch the video. The results will probably blow your mind and you'll go buy or build traction bars. LOL

 

That's a brilliant idea Travis. I don't have a gopro but I know a few people that do. I'm also a bit concerned as well. Lol
