Well, at a little over 10k I have my first issue. My monitor displayed a Tire Pressure Monitor Fault. All tires are OK. Light won't go out. Guess it just earned a trip to the dealer. :/
There is a difference between a FLASHING tire pressure monitor indicator than a fully illuminated one. If tire pressure is low, the message center would indicate as such. A flashing one indicates a fault in the system (one or more sensors not reading, or module fault etc.).
I have them at 65psi all the way around which is posted as the proper inflation. This is where I have had them since day one. When I bought the truck all tires were ~45psi.
So I suspect one of the tire sensors failed. Just didn't expect it so soon. My Explorer had one fail at 125k and 8 years old. I can accept that failure but not at 10k. I'm disappointed.
The SRW rear tires are a higher pressure than the front tires. Isn't the psi for the rears suppose to be like 80 or 85 psi?
That's only for F-350 SRW trucks. I believe the OP has an F-250 which, if optioned with 18 or 20 inch rims, the correct tire pressure IS 65psi for all four wheels, 75psi if they are 17 inch rims.
I have a 350, so the specified pressures may be a bit different, but refer to the tire and wheel loading information sticker on the b pillar below the driver door latch. I've found on mine it's very particular, even a little below it won't reset, but won't come on until it's 20% under or so.

I had the same thing come on my instrument cluster. It was a bad module, that module controlled the keyless entry too. It went bad and sent that fault message on mine.

Yikes, if my keyless entry goes out im screwed. Both keys are locked in my truck right now, actually, 99% of the time too. Hmmm, maybe I should change my habits.
I was just saying the tech told me that the module behind the glove box controls the keyless entry and also if bad, could trigger the tire pressure fault on the screen. Which it did on mine, as both things happened.

Have you made it in to the dealership yet, true blue? I'll be happy to escalate this to your regional customer service manager; just send me a PM with the details and I'll do the rest. In your message, please include your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, current mileage, and preferred servicing dealership.

Don't you know your door code? Or does it also control that?
If the TPMS works after that module is replaced then that was it...
