keypad fr passenger side too?

my 2006 has factory keypad on drivers door
i think it would come in handy to have one on the pass side too

has anyone bought one and done this, i would need a hard wired one as that is what the 06 has

thanks

I have not done this but I would think a wireless model would work and be easier to add.

that is true but i think they look different
i think wireless one is surface mounted and ends up being thicker than the wired one to give room for the batteries

heard this from dealer, can someone confirm for me if you have seen both please

thanks

As far as I am concerned, those keypads are just a open invitation for knuckleheads to mess with your truck.

The wireless one is thicker but you can't see both sides of the truck at one time. Plan on cutting into the door or purchasing a new door skin if you plan to try the door mounted one. I don't know how this would be wired in.
