Based on research I did online today I have concocted a stuff that is part Hydrocortisone Cream, part Aloe Vera (with Lidocaine), part Calamine Lotion, and part Baby Magic Baby Lotion.

I noticed the Calamine lotion doesn't contain Benadryl like good old Caladryl used to...
*Cheap Dollar General product made by Rexall

I wish I had some anti-histamines, but don't normally keep any.

EVERYTHING that I thought may have gone near the source is in the wash tonight, being washed twice. That includes pillows and pillow cases, shoes, gloves, and jackets.

I'm not going to post the pic I took of my face tonight for my photo diary. It looks like someone else...

Funny though - I have been IN that stuff for weeks now, it's only just in the last few days it got nasty, like maybe the warm weather triggered a sap run

Best of luck Wolf . That stuff can get nasty . I have little issues myself . A buddy of mine had to go to the hospital because of a bad case . He had never had an issue till he cleaned out a fence row ! He was in it for a few days .....

That's why it's so dangerous when somebody says "oh, that stuff don't bother me." Yeah, good luck with that. It might not now, though someday...

Poison Ivy can act like bee stings....instead of building immunity, each contact makes your body react more strongly to the toxin. Be careful....the next exposure could be multiple times worse.

I hope everyone else is doing well. My wish for wolf is that he can resist the urge to scratch.

I reckon IT is going to have a lot worse time with ROUNDUP than I am right now with IT.

One thing is for sure, it's got to be done away with once and for all. If it only gets worse over time and for the first time in my life it's doing all of this to me, I can't afford to have it here anywhere at all.

I may be out of action today too - fortunately I have some old books I wanted to read again.

Disposing of it is going to be very dangerous, I have it in mind to make an incinerator-like arrangement so that any smoke goes right straight up and away from here.

I got a little more done based on the "No effort - No progress" drive that often bugs me.

I can see where I may stop for the year, it's about twenty feet from where I am now with it. It will take in a few weak trees that have a lot of upper tangle, and will give me a place where I can either somewhat safely burn the bad stuff, or leave it to rot until next winter.

The grape vine is docked, and will not tangle things up any further, there are about six bad trees that could impact traffic but I think would be safe if I didn't get to them until next cold season, the thing is I don't want to yield momentum on this while I have a major push going on that is very close to cleaning out the whole wretched GD'd mess...

Still, without the vine tangle I wonder what it will look like when it greens up again.

I also don't want the cursed nasty Poison Ivy to have any chance to return. If I get rid of the trees, I get rid of its habitat, and I can finish it off with herbicides.
If I have to MURDER MY ENTIRE BACK LAWN I will kill this crap once and for all time!

Things will be better this year. They are already sure to be...

That's what I originally thought it was, and since Kudzu is basically harmless...

If you had Kudzu, you would probably be trying to keep it from coming in your house! It would definitively choke all the trees and poison ivy out, after some time anyways.

Ja - and the telephone poles, the utility lines, the driveway, and everything...

I used to keep a list of simple plants that could be introduced to the property of someone who I absolutely hated for some reason. Ordinary Ivy is one of them, unchecked it can make a huge mess and spoil bedding plants. Certain vines you've got to go to WAR with to get rid of them.

Kudzu is an item that should be reserved for only the most serious horticultural mischief, in which gross damage is intended to begin with.

That's the way I used to be. Haven't tested to see if I get the same reaction for years now. Just too scarred I guess!
