no start in the morning just clicks

just bought a 2007 ex max so far every morning we try to start the truck with the command start and it doesn't start I go out side and try to start it with the key and it just clicks put the charger on it on engine start and still doesn't start for at least 10 mins the rest of the day it runs fine and starts with the remote no problems can it be the battery or is there a security feature that is locking me out or did I just buy a lemon.

Don't throw parts at it. Have the parts store test the starter/battery/Alternator/ and for codes. Probably a bad relay or cables are corroded..then reset the ECU.

Did you have your battery and alternator (charging system) tested? were they ok?

Once you have it charged and fired up, does your rear window wiper work? If not, pull fuse # 19 for the rear wiper motor until you can fix the rear wiper. A common problem is the wiper pivot is all gunked up and the motor can no longer turn the wiper. However, the motor will continue to "try" to cycle the wiper and return it to a fully "parked" stop position, even after turning off the Expedition. You may even notice the motor cycle when you pop the rear window open. Thus, dead battery come morning.

If you think this may possibly be the case, search for "rear wiper" to find how to fix it for the cost of an o-ring and your time to dis-assemble. clean and re-assemble the wiper arm and pivot assembly.
