wanna hear the best ways to lower the front end
first please don't tell me to use a cv front end or mustang II ,I have a set of really nice American racing daisy wheels with the 5x5.5 bolt pattern and wanna keep these on the truck.im not gonna take curbs realll hard I just want a safer truck that's sits lower also,i hear a lot of people use the mono-leafs but I read a article that says they are unsafe, power steering is my goal with the cpp kit and disc brakes aas well.

this is route I am going to go when I get the time-you can move shock mounts on frame as well so you can use stock length shocks
Dropped axle, Axles, Axle, Guthrie, Ok

I am in the process of doing the same thing for same reasons.
I put in the speedway brake kit vs the cpp kit. I bought a dual chamber booster off a guy who makes them on eBay. Couldn't be happier. I am still on the original stock springs but I replaced all the bushings, tie rod ends and kingpins to on the original spindles.
I just got rid of my 275 65r 15 tires and the 15x10 wheels for a more stock 15x6 wheel with 225/75r tires. The tires were an inch taller but I feel like it sits lower for some reason.
The next will be springs. Been debating the mono vs full leaf. The most drop I see getting is 2.5-3 inches with just reverse eye springs. I can go 3-4 in back before I have issues with my exhaust or need to think about c notches.
That may be as low as i go. I live in an area with lots of gravel roads. But I think the 3 inches would be enough. It's cool too to tell people you kept an original feel.
