Found it on rock-auto but I don't see much more information for it.

You may want to give someone at a parts dept a call and check.
The BRD-84 looks like what the BRS-170 replaced.

I will call Bowen Scarff tomorrow morning and ask. Seal driver should be here tomorrow as well and parts on Saturday.
Apparently someone else was scheduled for the OT I was to receive tomorrow but more time to tear the rest of the truck apart. Also picked up a larger pitman arm puller for the tie rod. My Honda sized one didn't fit.

Got a call from the shop, they had the front torn mostly down and noticed the stub shafts had some pitting that may ruin the seal if I do any serious offroading. I elected to hold off on that replacement, I need to save a bit of money first. However, I was told they are replacing the u joints on the axles for free. So that's nice. I asked if they could confirm what gears I had up front to see if it really was 3.55. He said he would ask the tech and let me know.
So far it sounds like they are making progress. I may stop by on Monday for a visit to see how its going. They said they would take me back to see the truck and the progress.

6" Vise showed up today. U-joints showed up yesterday and the Lisle Seal driver showed up Friday as well. Waiting on the ball joints and wheel bearing now.
Will have to pick up a 33 mm socket for bottom ball joint, 1 1/8" six point socket for top even though it is off and some hardware to mount the vise tomorrow as well.
Pictures for all tomorrow.

To tide me over while the Bronco is in the shop, I got this:
Its fast and fun to play with.
As for the Bronco, the last update was the front was torn down and they found some pitting on the stub shafts but they should be ok. I've spent a ton already so those will come at a later date. But anyways, they said they would replace the u joints on the axles, they mentioned they would try to get the front drive shaft ones thrown in too. In the morning after work I plan to drive up and check on it, the last update was Wednesday after dropping it off the day before. No news is good news right? I'm super excited.

Dylan- which shop are you using? I need to get some u-joints swapped in one of my stub shafts. Actually both, but the drivers side for now until I have time to tackle the passenger side.
U joints, seal driver showed up. Knuckle is removed as well. Now for cleanup and parts replacement.
Pictures as promised.

Its home! I went up and checked on it, they threw in stub shafts for no extra charge. The only extra charge I got was for seals and bearings on the spindles.
I went to Billy Bobs Off-road in Milton. However, you'll be waiting a bit, they are booked into November. I had to wait a month to get mine done.
It certainly is different, much more snappy on the gas pedal. However I can't get on it and test out too much, I have a 500 mile break in period so the bearings can wear in and the gears and properly set. After that I can bang em up good.
*EDIT* that was weird. I ended up posting this in some F350 oil thread...

bring them in. Not a lot of $ the last time I has a set done but i did
buy the joints from them. If they have open shop time they could do
them while you wait. I think it took under 30 min.

They may have a shop up north. Looks like they have one in Seattle.
But give them a call. All they do is drivelines
so they should not be stacked up with other work.

As for the price... well, lets just say it was really expensive and I don't want to have to do that again till I'm too old to turn a wrench...
But, I'm happy with the work and ill have the truck for many years to come so it'll pay me back over time. Not to mention, they pulled a large pile of metal, grease, and other miscellaneous crap out of the front axle. They said if I hadn't pulled the Drive line, I probably would have blown it up and poked a hole in the axle.

Minor update, dropped the knuckle off at Firestone for the ball joint swap, Drivelines NW is installing the U-joint and a new stub shaft. While attempting to beat the seal off it wasn't moving so I started to cut through it and ended up going into the shaft itself. Fortunately they had one in stock and not too expensive. Drivers side assembly should commence tomorrow afternoon.
