been awhile ....

since i last was on here . a few months at least . i thought i'd give an update on my truck , the 53 .... there is no update . the wife has just recently returned to the work force , and as such i'm pretty much the only income , and again she has developed some medical issues ( seems we all fall apart as we get older , odd thing that is ! ) so the truck is still sitting , new or refurbed parts rusting , and it looks like it's gonna be that way for awhile now . kinda losing hope it will ever be driven again nonetheless be in one piece ever again . common sense says sell it , but that ain't gonna happen as one i'd never get back what i have in it , and two i do love the old girl and i'd rather watch her rust away / die in my possession than see someone else have her . welp i'll try to bring my smart **** self back to the boards a little more often but with being as busy ay work as i have been well ......... later guys !!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear about your wife, and your truck. After all the effort on the flatmotor and the rest, just get it under cover and coated with some WD40, until you can get back onto it.

Hope your wife gets better fast- you will get back to the truck someday soon- take Ross's advice and cover it well.

it's all inside the garage , but the humidity in it has caused some rust on the engine despite being bagged and soaked in oil , and on the spindles . she'll get better i'm sure . she had a "small" stroke according to the doc . she's got a sense of humor though as when the 31 year old daughter of ours who causes mom a lot of stress called and asked her about it , she told her the doctor said for her to get a new family , and more specifically a replacement for her .............. as far as me i'm just fine Name: imagegoofy.jpg
