1962 F250 4x4 VIN
Hi All,
I understand the production numbers are gone but was looking for a ballpark on how many were made. The VIN is F26BR82634.
I am the second owner (bought about 25 years ago with 50, 000 miles) and she now has 79,000 original miles. Was told the first owner ordered her with the 262-I6, 4:56 gears with posi rear. The PTO winch and tool box are a West Coast Dealer option. Original paint. I powdered coated the bumpers and swapped out the split rims for 16". I cannot post attachments (?) but photos are in my album.
Thanks,
Mike

I was hoping you'd chime in...once you noticed that a 1962 had a 262.
If a Domestic Special Order (DSO), the OP's Warranty Plate will have a 4 or 6 digit DSO number stamped on it.
If not a DSO, there might be 2 numbers stamped on the Warranty Plate, might not.
Some 1961/62's, if not a DSO, have no numbers stamped on the plate.
