I just bought a 4 door F-150 with an automatic. And I no longer need 'Shaun'. And I am giving him away as I could not in good conscience sell him seeing as how there are sooooo many little things wrong with it. Plus I couldn't put a price on a truck that I've loved having for so long. Please don't message me with questions about what's wrong with it. It's free...either you want it or you don't. It runs really well, and he'll start up for you every time.

 

I'll take it. I've got a good home for it.

I got one father/son combo interested in it. If they say no...it's yours.

OK, just spoke on the phone with the father of the aforementioned father/son combo. Looks like Shaun found his new home.

 

Just so everyone knows Zombie Killer is sending Shaun to visit Michigan in the care of a 17 year old that has been dreaming of his own truck for a while. My son is a senior in High School and has gotten the hand me down car from his 2 older siblings. He has been saving to get a truck before collage and this was one of those fortuitous events that I think is a great teaching moment. Zombie Killer is paying it forward and I will tell you that when My son is ready to move to a new rig we will be paying Shaun forward. I have made a few conditions on keeping shaun with my son;

1. he has do all of the repairs/ maintainance
2. he has to join the forum and keep everyone up to date on his progress. (I am counting on each of you to prod him along.)
3. He is never allowed to sell shaun. It will passed along in better shape than when he got it.
4. treat it like the gift it is. treat it with respect/ fix what you break and use some common sense. ( We will see how this one goes)

any other advise I should impart?

Just so everyone know it is not avalible.
we got her home last weekend and the "Boy" has been working on it in all his spare time.

It made it 1000 miles with just a couple of issues.
