Good afternoon Islanders. Tom , you never fail to amaze me with your get'r'done go get 'em, no rest time management!! I worked a 12 hour day at my buddies house Saturday. Then Sunday was property management at moms. MIL and a little at my house. I did look at and drive the truck though
Now, about this golf in December thing. Totally interested. I played Turkey day morning and think I'll get out Sunday possibly.
Have a great week guys!

Happy hump day boyz.
Yes, Tom, I got sucked right into your builds! As usual an over the top job. Now I was wondering about one of the panel trucks. I see the new one you are using the E series front end. What are you going to use for the steering? I thought at one point you were talking about using a Lincoln rack or something of the like.
Do tell. Do tell.
And again, thanks for sharing these builds with the rest of us.

Wade, u are mixing up the two trucks.
The crew cab project is receiving the a 2006 crown Victoria interceptor front suspension and the 4.6 engine, Explorer disc 8.8 axle, tr3650 5 speed mustang transmission.
The coe (cab over) is getting transplanted onto a 1998 e350 box truck chassis that has a 7.3 turbo diesel.

That makes more sense.

well another weekend comes to an end...
Feels like I got nothing done....
worked Saturday.... till 12 doing the daily grind.
then went home and strapped down the pile of junk on my trailer for my Sunday trip to the Garage.
after the strapping was done, I did some sandblasting for the crown Victoria engine.
then... did some paint work.
then... played with the crown vic wiring for a bit.
Sunday was a trip to putman CT with the load of scrap.
Unload the scrap onto my buddies trailer.
Then drive back to Manville RI to pickup a mustang that my buddy gave up on .
Brought that home.... and started inventorying parts to put on craigslist.
Just wish I actually got something accomplished....

Happy Monday Islanders
Swapped the 265's for 315's. VERY happy with that choice.
Full service on the wifes Edge. Discovered I'll be back under there this week to put front rotors and pads on. Ugh
Serviced the neighbors cars (oil change, rotate, etc etc) Free beer and no one complains about the various things I do in the driveway this way.
Built three pallet benches. Just have to get the Mrs to paint them and then I can put them together. (Inexpensive X=mass gifts that seem to please)
Not as impressive as your list Tom, but I'm happy. LOL

Well gang it was another slow weekend.
another Saturday half day at the daily grind.
Then off to look at another truck I might buy.
Saturday evening was another adventure in my wire diet.
Sunday was a trip to the garage to gather up all the electronics from the crown vic to identify some unlabeled plugs.
Spent almost an hour trying to figure out the wiring on my buddies Waste oil furnace. We got it working but the fing fan wouldn't turn off.... going to have to call a pro.
Then installed the transmission on the 4.6 for the crew cab project. And installed the motor/transmission into the 56 Crew Cab.
Then went home and plugged in all the missing un identified plugs... and continued my wire diet for a few more hours.....
yet another weekend of not getting anything done....
