Hate to sound like a dumorat, but the gobermunt has to be involved in trade and commerce. You can tax people, but it wont get far, taxing the truly wealthy and "big business" will actually do something for us. Look around 1950-1976, taxes were high, income inequality was low, government had sticky fingers, and most say it was an alright time but, thats word of mouth.

Look at income tax history... 1950-1976, what was unemployment like then when taxes on the actual upper class was at an all time high.

Roy, I can tell you just how bad off unemployment is. I have had to deliver paperwork there to take people off of it since they became employed for the guy I work for.

Thing was shutting down the engine one the red one yesterday on a trip down to Lapine. Had to stop and let it cool about 8-9 times before I got it home.
