We were supposed to get the Winter Storm of Death today, they've been talking it up all week. Today's forecast?

Chance of snow showers, with little to no accumulation. What a bunch of alarmist morons.

But, if they're going to be wrong, better this way, than the opposite!!

Morning gang, They have been talking snow here for the last couple of days; the road people started putting deicer down two days age. Well we got the snow this morning; just a trace, just enough to turn my deck white. And it is 31*, so the likey hood of it staying long is small!

I saw that yesterday... Sounds kind of henkey to me. Your going to come clear across the country for a marginal vehicle which he admitted first off wasn't quite what he was looking for(too many miles). I think I'll pass.

So anybody know what the story is with NASCAR and Atlanta. Heard something about 13 cars failing inspection, not qualifying. Can't seem to load the media / news gallery on the NNASCAR site.

Inspection woes prevent several from qualifying

 

Heard something about them going though tech to slow, but I did not hear anything about failing tech.

 

Finally got to that page. Other links I click on bring up a dark translucent screen with a little color bar that keeps cycling but never brings anything up. Thinking there is some kind of video, pictures or graphic that is either not downloading or I don't have the player for.


Gordon, Stewart, Johnson, Edwards, Kenseth and several others that are usually up front are at the back of the tail end of the pack for starting. Sounds like they were pushing some kind of limits on a camber setting....
