On the airplane, we usually got 2 dried out pieces of bread, a meat of unknown origin or biological make up, 1 little packet of: ketchup, mustard and sometimes mayonnaise. All of this wrapped up all Purdy in a white cardboard box.
If the flight time for the mission was going to be over 6 hours, we got steaks, potatoes and all the fixings that the AO (the Aviation Ordinanceman was the designated cook per US Naval aviation traditions) would cook up in the Galley. Somehow it always managed to have a JP 5 and hydraulic oil tinges to the flavor.

CODs for many, many years ago...(Carrier Onboard Delivery).
AND
Carriers are really, really big but still too small to land a C17, C130, KC 10, C141 or a C5 on.
Holy Cow! When did you move? It's 38 and raining here. I've still got a heavy layer of ice in my wine barrel yard fountain! Geez, AS THE BIRD FLYS we're only about 75 miles apart.

Evening gang.
Or winners.
It was a grueling day at the farm. Finished the trench. It was a PITA. But it's done.
Got the burn pile taken care of.
For reference the pile is about 10' tall... The flames are +/- 25'.
It made for a good excuse to take a break from the trench warfare.
