Hi, a fellow ford driver (f150) pulled around a car on a residential street and clipped my mirror. His whole mirror as removed from his white beater truck. My mirror has the bottom plastic housing broken. Power fold and in/out and all glass movements work. How do i fix without giving the stealership $1400. Does anyone know if the housing on the manual fold mirror with signal is the same as the power fold. Thanks, Dave
First I would think HIS insurance would pay for it; and if that's not going to happen then your insurance. If you're paying for it then the first option should be a junk-yard replacement followed by a pair of non-OEM mirrors.
I need the square housing that faces forward and contains motors and mirror, i would post a picture but its dark and 0f outside, The guy that hit me ran and we did not get plate #. I think that the manual mirror with blinker lens box should work, thanks, dave
I replaced the whole thing. We have a couple SD parts trucks at work but none of them have the power in out folding, If that helps.
You need the outside cover, right? The more I read the more I am confusing myself. You said the "housing" in the original post. I thought you were talking about the outside cover. I guess I need to take a better look at one
