turn signal cam

has anyone changed out the cam on a tilt and cruise column? i know the cam is different for a tilt/non tilt column but would the cruise control have anything to do with it being different?

The turn signal cam is different on a Tilt column as opposed to a non-tilt column.

The cruise control has no effect on the T/S or wiring harness except.
When you go from Non cruise to cruise control, the previous wiring from the Horn changes to the power for the cruise.
This is done with a special harness for the horn which is added to the system.

So no, the cruise control pad is just that a pad fitting into the same spot the non-cruise horn pad fit.
