No Limit Frame

I am starting to think about installing a Coyote engine and IFS in my '53. After lookng around a little and kind of wonder if the frame will be strong enough to handle the power of the Coyote. That maybe it might be better to just bite the bullet and get a complete No Limit frame. Or would it be a better idea just keep my current truck as is. And start looking for another cab and build a new truck w/ a new frame that is all performance.

Sounds like money is not the problem so go for it. Keep your truck and get another and do all that so you still have one to drive. There are lots of available frames with lots of options if you have the deep pockets. How about a complete rolling chassis with IRS, IFS, a completely boxed frame, with brakes and all the correct mounting brackets. Here is one, there are many out there.

I put one in my wife's 52. I think the frame will be plenty strong for the type of driving she does. Will know for sure in a few months.

I wouldnt say that money is no problem. But I am 37 single (never married), have OK paying job (same company 16 years), debt free so I can handle what needs to be done. I am currently looking for a new house/land. Would really just like to build a shop with an apartment.

Probably just be happy with what I have with my '53 right now. And try to make up my mind of the next year or so. I have a new Indian Scout I am waiting for right now and will just make that my next project. I have wanted a 1929 Ford truck for a long time so might start hunting for one of those to turn into a daily driver.
