Intermittent Stall

I have a 1988 F250 with a 7.5L 460 V8. Since I bought it a year ago, it has had a intermittent stall problem. I started with new plugs, wires, cap and rotor, cleaning and tightening all electrical connections. I then replaced distributor mount ICM TFI and pip sensor inside distributor. Problem went away for about 4 months then intermittent stall started again. Then complete failure of ICM. Replaced ICM and lasted for one week before ICM failure. Repaced ICM again, this time with Motorcraft ICM and new coil. Stall problem is more frequent, found radio noise filter off coil shorting out, removed filter. Stall problem less frequent, can go 50 miles, couple days with no problems or it can stall 4 times in less than 2 miles from home. When it stalls I have to turn off key completely and turn back on before it will restart. I have been working on my Fords for over 35 years and this one has me stumped. Debating on replacing the engine control module. Any help out there would be greatly appreciated
