Brake issue???
My dad in law is chasing a rubbing noise when he brakes on the passenger side front. He had the caliper and pads replaced and a new rotor and the noise persisted. He thought it could be a wheel bearing so changed that also. The noise still remains when applying the brakes but it brakes and drives fine. The dust shield does have some rub marks on it but don't know how anything can rub it. The noise sounds like a low scraping noise to me. Any ideas? It is an 05 crew cab 4x4. Thanks.

It might be best to raise up the front end so you can spin the wheel by hand, you might be able to notice something obvious.
If not, I'd just remove the wheel, and caliper and inspect the components. It's a pretty easy job to remove the caliper, just a couple of bolts. Slide pins could be hung up, pads could be damaged, or not seated properly. Sometimes the rattle clips come off and could cause the pads to shift, or maybe something got caught up in the pad.
