that info is not correct.
the 302 and the 460 use two different bellhousing patterns so the tranny from the 302 will not bolt up to the 460. you have to use a tranny with the correct bellhousing from either a 429/460 or 351M/400 engine family.
also the motor mounts are different. the 460 is a much wider engine then the 302. you will have to get the proper engine mounts and pedastals meant for a 460 truck. no F150's from 89 came with 460's and I don't know if the f250/350 (came from factory with 460's) truck frames are the same so that you can use the mounts from a donor truck.
also the computer for the 302 will not work on a 460 so you will have to either put in a carbed 460 and get rid of the computer or try to figure out a way to convert a 460 to mass air fuel injection.
also a lot of little things to do like exhaust, cooling (a 302 rad will probably not be big enough to cool a 460), oil pan, wiring, driveshaft, etc to make it fit and run.
this is more then a couple of hour job.
