ran rough now no start

So I have about 200k miles and my truck ran great, no hiccuping injectors or anything and then I got on my road going up hill and it lost all power and started running like garbage. I got it home and for a bit I could get it started but it doesn't go anywhere and it runs very rough.

Now I can't even get it started.

I find it hard to believe that its injectors because it wouldn't just all of a sudden do that.

I'm thinking Hpop or IPR, something like that. But what I'm wondering is, is there something I can buy that'll run a full diagnosis on the truck even though it doesn't start ? Like pressure readings of stuff?

Auto Enginuity from RiffRaff is what most of us use. It is some money up front but will save you in the future.

The easiest thing to start with if you don't have a diagnostic tool is the CPS. If you haven't replaced the Camshaft position sensor it could cause an instant failure like this. You could also verify that your fuel pump is working by listening to it when you turn the key on below the drivers side door in the frame rail. You can also look at the tin nut on the IPR and make sure it is there and tight.

There are a lot of no start threads . start reading up. You will most likely find answers to any questions you have.

Could be a fuel starvation problem. How much in the tank when this started? Have you ever done the in tank mods? (edit..dang Pika beat me to it)

How's your oil level?

Do you use an android phone. You can get an app and an adapter to monitor pressures etc. Search "torque pro" on the forum search and read up/

I have a full tank, no mods done to the tank, and I have replaced the CPS about 2 years ago but I'll see if that's the issue. I plan on buying Ae for sure.

And yes I use an android.

Did you get a chance to check your oil level?

Open the drain valve on the back of the fuel bowl and turn key on. do you get a strong stream of fuel out of drain. Will come out under the engine near front axle middle so have a drain pan or do it in a place fuel can run out.
