axle code h22 ...need front seals and local parts house is clueless
Hello all. 1980 ranger, axle code h22. Trackloc front and rear. 3.55s. I need the front seal for thepassside. This is the bolt in kind with the flange, not a press in.
Does anyone have a part number for. The early ttb tracloc seal?

Its not shown on that. I assume 3254. Its the diff seal on the pass. Side. I do not have c clips holding the axle in the tracloc ttb front like later years. It is a flange holding the axle in. Parts store guy said there is no listing for my style. No idea if late front tracloc use the same seal as early.

I think we have an answer. The first pic shows that there was a non-slip front axle in 1980 and its parts are in Section 30 List 3D.
The second pic shows the Ford and Dana #'s for the axle - just in case you need it.
The third and fourth pic are the top and bottom of the page in the catalog that shows the #'s on the individual parts (note the overlap) for part lists 3A through 3M. (I split it into two so it would be large enough to read.) And, at the bottom you can see the # is E0TZ 3254-B and that it was used in all the axles 3A - 3M, inc your 3D application.

Mr. Clean aka Mr. Fixit (ctubutis) knows about snow, lives near Denver. The Oklahoma Kid (Gary Lewis) probably does too, even though he lives near Tulsa.

I am southeast of buffalo ny. Snow is usually a way of life here. I wish I was back in phoenix.....I was happy to pull out a LA France pumper truck a few weeks back when we got 7 feet in 5 days. Old truck pulled it from a snow bank with no issue. I think the firemen were kinda amazed a 35 year old truck pulled them out. Good tires make all the difference.

In fact, we have snow on the ground as I type. Came down yesterday morning, hard. Was beautiful to watch, sitting in the sun room with a cup of joe. The air temp was just below freezing so the trees got coated, but not the streets nor walks.
I have considered going with LS in the front of Dad's as it goes back together, but the stories I've heard about how they drive makes me leery. I'm confident I could handle it 'cause I've driven in the snow a lot, with many different vehicles. But, I'm turning the truck over to my offspring at some point and they not had the fun of getting squirrelly in the snow, hanging the rear end out for blocks, steering into the skid, etc.
