1966 f250 engine swap 460ci

Ok so I have my 1966 f250 camper special and I am putting a new style crown Victoria suspension clip in the front I was wanting to know what I was going to have to do to get the 460 to go in there....is there any motor mounts I could get that would bolt on easily without major changes

First of all, Welcome to FTE. You'll find a great deal of information to help here.

As to your project, may I ask a few questions?
What is your goal in making the Crown Vic swap?
Did you know that from trucks up to '79, you can transplant power steering and power disc brakes rather easily?
Are you aware that Ford made major changes to the front suspension (and more) in '65?
Which means that the popularity of a CV suspension swap is focused more on the '64 and earlier trucks? Upgrades for '64 trucks are not as easily done, so the CV suspension provides another option for those trucks - but it is still quite a bit of work, more than required for a '65 or later truck.

I ask because the CV swap is quite a bit of work, and seems to be more work than is necessary, especially when the usual upgrades the CV provides are easier to obtain and install on your '66 from later Ford trucks (up to '79).

As for the 460, I put one in my '66 using factory (harvested) parts, and it fits like a glove. However, I would be concerned about clearances (such as oil pan) with the CV suspension.
I wish I had more information for you, but I have no experience with CV swaps.

Just my opinion, and I hope it helps.

Again, Welcome to FTE.

Excellent, you have better skills and support than I have.

Be sure to document your progress and take a lot of pictures! You and your family will appreciate it later.

Best of luck to you and your project.

You will need to fabricate custom mounts for the CV towers. Be aware the oil pump and even a rear sumr 4x4 pan will sit that engine very high in the chassis.
