Brake components with Volare front end, help?

For those of you who utilized the Volare brake pedal and master cylinder that came from the front end doner car, and went with disc brakes on the rear, what did you use for proportioning valve and where did you find it? I am using the stock Volare front disc brakes and will use an Explorer rear end with disc brakes. I have the Volare brake pedal assy and master cylinder. Or should I go with something else completely? Thank You!

I haven't done it. But from what I have read you would
at least need a master and a valve for a disk/disk setup.

I have the Volare disc set up on the front, Ford Explorer disc on rear. I kept my original '54 pedal (under the floor) with residual check valves and an adjustable proportioning valve set up. I got all my parts from Mid Fifty. Their catalog also has a nice drawing of the correct way to set it up. Good people to deal with. Good Luck, Steve

I didn't install one just used a dual disc master from the 89 mark vii donor car. If its a problem I will add a proportioning valve, Its mobile but not a driver at this point.
