Also the next few starts after might be long ones too. That kinda threw me off the first time I experienced it, I was expecting it to start as normal after the initial long crank...

That's what I did, I primed the oil rail after I put it back on. There's a little port and I use a small funnel and fill with fresh oil until it's full. Everything must be kept very, very clean.

It took about a 6-8 second crank to get it running then seemed to run good. I hot started it and it took around 5-6 secs to start. Will this start to get better to? This is only the first time it's been on a drive with it after the pump. It never had a hot start issue before so hopefully I don't have to track a hot start problem down

Yea I have to say its back to normal and seems to be running good. Thanks for the help along the way. Hopefully it's back to being trouble free

yea, sometimes a little buttery spread is all she needs.

It might be much more truck at times than necessary, however very pleased with this 6.0 purchase.
