Wanted to bring this one back up to date & ask if you got everything figured out? If you ended up going with aftermarket injection to correct operating issues or stayed with the factory style system? I'm looking to build a BBF stroker for a 92-97 F-250 CC 4X4 ZF5 + OD, leaning towards a 545 more & more. I'm going thru head drama right now, which one works the best down low & in the middle as I'll most likely never rev it over 4500RPM.

Anywho, I hope you've got it figured out an enjoying it!

I took that piece of junk IST kit off. Owner got to point he wouldn't even return calls back.

So, I went carb. Had Competition Carbs, in conjunction with Scott at RHP, build me a custom 4150. Just started getting it on this week. Going pretty smooth but gotta get a couple things squared away.

Got my factory tach working, stock throttle cables work with a carb throttle bracket from Jegs, need to run a fuel pump relay bypass switch to make stock pumps run since EFI controls are gone and it just primes at key on. Fuel regulator is on and all lines replumbed.

Will have running soon.

And if you want a master at the 460, I highly recommend Scott at RHP. He is absolutely phenomenal to work with and is top notch in his work. Tell him Bryce sent you.

Sorry to hear that man, sounds like some good people backing you up with the right carb set-up though. I hope you get everything squared away soon & start logging the smiles on that truck!!!

This is the way I decided to go since day one when I sat down with pen & paper..Plus, I had already scored a Edelbrock (NIB) dual plane RPM intake at a swap meet last year for $100.
They'll also have another TBI set-up very similar but, it has dual injectors in each "Barrel" to support something like 400-1000HP.

If you're able with your time etc., keep me updated please. You may just save me from making mistakes with my build! P.S. Any flow charts for your heads? From what I can see, his work is seamless! The reason I ask, is because I'm researching/trying to get the best flowing head down stairs & mid range. Without spending $4K an over, I'm looking for the best results in exhaust flow side in the .200-.300-.400-.500. At .300 inch lift on the exhaust side, I'd like to be no less than 175cfm (like AFR's BBF heads), 180cfm would make me a very happy man! But, that's without spending over $4K or more, I have to stay reasonable & grounded!

Happy New Year Bryce & can't wait to see a vid of your truck performing as you built it too!

Why did you go with those iron heads ? Cash issue ? Did you use one of those kits to get an adjustable roller rocker set up on them ? How are the 5:13's working out ? I run 5:13's with 42"s and they are just about right with my B.B. I'd think they wouldn't be anywhere near enough with your bigger tires ?
