Can anyone help?

I have a 2001 ford f150 two wheel drive five speed. I have been having trouble with the wipers and I checked the motor because I had another motor and plugged it in and it didn't work either. so I changed the switch on the steering wheel that controls the wipers and it didn't work either with the new one installed. so I was told to change the GEM module and I changed it out with one from a salvage yard. I installed it and the wipers still didn't work. So I got frustrated and took it to the dealer and they checked it out and said the fuse panel was bad under the dash. So I went and got a fuse panel the panel that the GEM module come off of from the salvage yard. I changed all that out and the wipers still didn't work. So I took the other motor I had and plugged it in and it works now. Now my problem is getting the dang motor off. How is that possible when the wipers wont move in order the twist the transmission out? Also after I got done working on all that my speed selector switch for the blower motor stopped working. I do not have any speed at all. it worked fine before I changed all that out. Any guesses on where to go to on that? I checked the plug to the switch and I can not get it to show any power at all coming to it.

When my blower wouldn't function properly it was the blower motor speed control resistor. It is up under the passenger side dash under the glove box. The glove box doesn't need to be removed to remove the resistor. It just has two bolts holding it on. Here it is a advance, I recently replaced mine.

I do not think it's the resistor in my case for the simple fact that it was working fine before all this fuse panel switching around. Even when the resistor goes out you still have high because it bypasses the resistor. I don't even have high.

well you need to slow down, quit changing parts out and get a volt meter. Originally the blower id not wok because you had now power. Now th blower doesnot work because you have no power You need to check power into the fuse block, then out from each fuse to each component.... maybe you have no grounds ?

The fuse under the hood is good. I changed it out with another one and still nothing happened. Like I said I pulled the controls and checked the wires coming into the speed selector switch and no power there on any of the wires with the key on or off. As far as the grounds go I have no idea where they would even be at. The fuse panel I installed all the fuses were good and im not sure but I don't think any of those fuses go to the switch or blower, just the one under the hood.

Come to find out the fuse block in installed wasn't the right fuse block. The one I installed was out of the same model truck but apparently ford didn't fuse the fan speed control switch on fuse 24 on all the trucks. The fuse block I installed was not fused on 24 like the one that came out of it. I changed the fuse block with one that was fused on 24 and the fan speed control switch works fine now.
