Frame Swap...

Hi everyone I'm in need of some help here. I have a 1987 F250 XLT Lariat date of manufacture 01/87 still factory carbureted (not important), and I also have a 1985 F250 XL and Im in need of doing a frame swap at least I think I cn do it but thats why im posting this. The 87 has some bad spots on the frame and the 85 is beautiful. I was assuming that the frames can be swapped basically but I am unsure of any structural differences between the two that could inhibit me of doing so. They both have twin I-beam front suspension systems and are obviously 3/4 trucks too. Would there be any issues or things I would have to change in order to take them both apart and use the frame from my 85 on the 87??? Please help if you can.

Big project. I'd try to save the frame on the 87. People "sandwich" the frame between 2 c-channels to repair the bad spots. post pics of the problem areas if you want
