95 to 92 Motor and tranny swap

Hey everyone
I have my 95 F250 with a 351 and a 5 speed, now... Just today I think, I'm pretty damn sure but not certain, that I blew my Slave Cylinder... My clutch pedal goes to the floor and stays there and my clutch is still engaged. so here is my dilemma... Keep my 351 with 298,000 on it in my truck and drop the tranny and buy a slave cylinder, or yank my 92 351 and 5 speed with 170,000 from my parts truck and replace both, then build my 95 351 up like I've always wanted to... the major question here is, will all the wiring harnesses match up? and if not, is it a huge deal? And by the way, Does the 92 produce less power than the 95? and If so, because of the Flat Tappet cam? But on the other side... 128,000 less on the 92 so it might have more ***** than the 95?

Thanks in advance!

It will if you don't try to use any '92 wiring on your truck, in other words you have to remove the upper intake on both motors and disconnect all wiring right on the engines before the swap

Doubt it.

So does that mean like plug and play from harnesses? Or will some things need to be re wired? And also, how much horsepower more would the 95 make over the 92?

Yes the '95 engine harness will plug right into the '92 motor.
There could be a big difference in power between these motors, on paper there was virtually no power change over the years but on the street some of the early flat tappet motors were only slightly more powerful than the 5.0 which wouldn't maintain highway speed into a head wind in these heavy trucks.

Oh really? would it at all be possible to swap the cams out? Sounds like a dumb question but I want to be sure...

The '92 block won't accept the later roller cam assembly but you could plug in a HO spec aftermarket flat tappet cam like the Crane 444232.
